Bettendorf, Iowa Speed Traps

Bettendorf Residents will know the old Eagle Country Market Parking lot. (on 18th St. across from Degrevee Oil Change) When you are traveling South on 18th up come over a big hill and they get you come over the hill.

The speed trap is between Utica Ridge Rd. and 18th Street. If you are traveling west on Spruce Hills (the only lane two lanes they radar) the radar will be set up on a number of streets. The police really inforce the speed limit and will bust you for going 5 over.

The Bettendorf Police like to sit in the parking lots at Bettendorf High School and watch 18th St. They are extremely strict about this school zone and will usually nail you for 5 mph over the limit.
