Lexington, Kentucky Speed Traps
Hume Road near Ami Lane
Hume Road runs between Winchester Road and Bryan Station just outside the Interstate. It has a Bridge on it that crosses over I-64 East just off the I-75 Exchange. Late at night..10-12 P.M. the younger folks like to Drag Race there because it is Straight and Wide. The Speed limit is posted at 35…it is a Country Road. While the Police wait to catch the Drag Racers, they catch us taking a short cut from the Movies at Hamburg. To do under 45 on that road is very difficult since you feel like you are in the Country.
Paris Pike Road near Coming from Paris, at the KY Horse Training Center to Lexington Country Club
Police sit in the median, usually in front of trees and shrubs but out of your sight of vision until you are very close. The entire stretch of this highway is 55 mph until you get to this area and they drop the speed limit to 45 mph. A great place for the police to increase their ticket quota in short order!

Interstate 75 North near Mile Marker 124
I-75 northbound. State cops sit on the left shoulder below the bridge south of exit 125. It’s a blind left turn so you won’t see the cop until it’s too late.
