Heritage Creek Subdivision

Louisville, KentuckyApr 10, 20100 Comments

This area is on Cedar Creek Rd. between Cooper Chapel Rd. and Mt. Washington Rd. Speed limit is 35mpg and the police are starting to sit right across the street from the entrance to this subdivision in the new Highview Fire Dept (station #3). They are very difficult to see and have the option of sitting at either side of the building. Also, they sit down the street behind the fences at the McNeely Park soccer field .

Furman Blvd. in between Hikes Lane and Taylorsville Rd.

This is a very high traffic street so they switch their positions to several different hiding spots sometimes even sit on the street. If you’re coming from Taylorsville Rd. when you come around the curve they sit on the side of the road then a lot of times they sit on the first street on either side and wait for you to pass also the next two streets as well. The speed limit is only 25 on that street which is clearly too slow just because of the amount of traffic that goes through.

Watch out. Vehicle enforcement always are sitting on the genesnyder freeway ramp facing towards taylorsville etc. They sit at the end of the ramp behind a huge rock wall and when motorrist are coming up and pass them its to late they are already on rader. Pretty sneaky. SO if youre coming from dixie or smyrna road towards 64 east or taylorsville road watch out for this enforcement

Police Officers are constantly giving tickets between Bardstown Road and I-64. The officers in this area drive unmarked Camaros or Chargers and are usually hiding around a bend or over an incline. It is well known that these officers are supposed to be the cream of the crop for Metro Louisville Police when it comes to issuing speeding tickets.
