Hickory Ridge Boulevard near Coursey Boulevard

Baton Rouge, LouisianaNov 09, 20040 Comments

Police officers on motorcycle will sit behind a tree at the corner of Cypress Ridge and Hickory Ridge pointed at traffic headed toward Coursey. They will also sometimes sit in the median at other locations along the boulevard. Residents of this neighborhood are very vigilant about enlisting the help of the police to enforce the 30 MPH speed limit. Since this is a main connection between Coursey and Tiger Bend, it’s very difficult to stay at 30 or below.
