Baton Rouge, Louisiana Speed Traps

While driving in this area late at night i’ve been stoped 4 to 6 times for not wearing a seat belt at 1am..kind of odd.. four units normally sit on the side the road. Two are most of the time K-9 units

usually 5 pm traffic they are out at confederate and Petersburg Dr hidden with there cars all the way back by the dead end and they stand by the road with the laser set at a certain angle so it picks up ever cars speed that passes by some people on the street actually have signs that say Please Slow Down so when u turn on confederate make sure you slow down after the miner curve.

This trap is located at the first stop sign when one turns into the Meadow Bend subdivision from Burbank. There tends to be a Sheriff waiting for rolling stops there. This is redicculous because late at night it doesn’t take a complete stop to see that the coast is clear.

Passing after 9 p.m., I have seen this speed trap mutliple times. One officer stands on the side of the street opposite the high school with a radar and directs speeders into the high school parking lot where his partner writes the tickets.

40 mph speed sign there is a chruch and they kinda hide in the bushes usually on motor bikes basicly it is the middle of anitoch the halfway point either way your are going usually saturday mid day they are out there once and a while
