LSU Avenue near Highland Road
This trap on LSU avenue is between Highland and Standford. Usually one officer with a radar gun and one officer a few blocks down to stop you and write the ticket. This is a 30 mph residential street and they don’t allow much overage on speed. I keep it under 30 just to make sure.
Interstate 12 near Interstate 10
Ever since the series of fatal wreck in May and June, the cops aren’t playing around and I can’t say I blame them. Don’t even think of going a hair over 60 MPH at anytime on I-12 between Walker and the 10-12 split in Baton Rouge.
Interstate 12 near Millerville Exit Overpass
Multiple motorcycle units under overpass, or police unit on overpass behind sign using lidar. This is part of an antispeeding campaign. Police have received federal grant money to pay for more traffic coverage.
US Highway 12 near O’Neal Lane
Hwy 12 due to recent fatal accidents between Millerville and O’Neal Lane are heavily ticketing. Speed limit of 60mph is strictly enforced.
