Kennebunk, Maine Speed Traps
Mile 24.5 NB Maine Turnpike
The state troopers have several marked and unmarked vehicles hidden off to the right on the ME Tpke just BEFORE the overpass immediately south of the northbound exit (exit 25) to Kennebunk and the rest stop. Several victims are pulled over in front of the rest area by revenue generators.
Maine Turnpike SB after Cat Mousam Rd
Troopers like to sit on the overpass watching traffic after it passes under the bridge. Another trooper will be stationed 1/4 to 1/2 mile down on the side of the turnpike.
Maine Turnpike North
Just south West Kennebunk over pass .They are to the right
Mill St.
Mill St. is a feeder road to Alfred Rd. and RT 99, officers frequently hide out at the bottom of the hill near the bridge/river. The road is 25MPH and there is little wiggle room, Kennebunk isn’t known for handing out warnings (understandable as it’s a very residential area).
25 mph downtown and interstate feeder roads
Kennebunk Maine Police Silver unmarked Crown Victoria
Regular Maine Plates!
Kennebunk police are using this silver unmarked Ford with no visible light rack on roof and absolutely no markings. It looks like a car older people would drive except for the cheap plastic wheel covers. They use it for speed enforcement on all the 25 mile roads in town and to/from the interstate, and along Route 1.
