Bolton, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Cruiser sits in Library Parking lot to catch drivers (Westbound) speeding up to 45 while still in the 30 MPH zone, or drivers coming out of 45 MPH zone (Eastbound) failing to slow down to 30 MPH.
The police sits in front of the church on the hill . The church is less than a half mile from the police station, before you get to 495.
Officers sit in the parking lot for the pizza place across from the Regional High School that also has some night classes. Have seen them here more in the evening hours.
Very typical to see officer during morning rush hour sitting on I-495 at the Rte. 117 Entrance. There is a wide place for them to sit and the construction staging area helps disguise them.
Leaving Bolton on the downhill before the lights at Bolton Orchard is a perversion of a trap. Speed is posted 40mph on hill but at the bottom of the hill is a speed limit sign hidden by brush and so dirty it can barely be seen in broad daylight. Cruisers wait at the bottom of the hill for your donation to Boltons most thriving industry.
