Wellesley, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Weston Road near State Route 9
Usually at night, between 5 or 6 to about 11 at some points, a cop either sits on Weston Road parked on the sidewalk and you can not see him until pretty close, or he’ll hide on Boulder Brook Rd. which is right off of Weston Rd. as you are leaving Wellesley to Weston. The chief of police lives right there and has the speed traps set up as he sees people speeding from his house.
Forest Street
They hide in the shadow next to the four way stop and wait. This is a constant speed trap, and dont even think about rolling the stop sign. They are compulsive speed trappers…. they dont even finish writing a ticket and they are already pulling somebody else over.
Route 16 Eastbound between Natick and Wellesley College
The police sit on Station Ave (?) near the bottom of the downhill "S" curves with instant-on. The area is marked, in theory, as 30 mph. The officer stated that there have been too many accidents there due to wet roads and they’ve been asked by the town to "crack down" on speeders.
9East next to the steps of the St James Church-up off the rd.
Officer is parked on church property right next to the front steps fairly well hidden by trees
9W just before Kingsbury Rd
Offices sits just around a corner after a straight-away up off the road. They will get you going both ways with the radar gun.
