Rauch Rd., between Minx & Telegraph
Both Erie Police and MI State Hwy. patrol ticket on this stretch of Rauch. Beware that the Erie Police are backing themselves way down the home driveways and using radar as you come close and go by the driveway. They are not close to the road so you do not notice them until you go by and they come racing back up front to pull onto Rauch Rd. after you.
Sterns Rd overpass of I-75
The descending side of the overpass is 25mph across Suder and the two small bridges where it becomes 45mph.
Telegraph between Erie and Luna Pier/Samaria
It is easy to be going more than 55 on Telegraph in this area. I got pinched for going 60 in the 55 zone. Kissed $100 good bye.
Erie Road, between Dixie Highway and Telegraph Rd.
This is a 25 mile an hour stretch, and you best go that speed—–or you WILL get a ticket.
S.B. off I-75 — the Summit Street Exit. Turn Right onto Sterns Rd.
Once you go West onto Sterns Road off Summit Street going over I-75, the speed goes down to 25 from 45 mph. There is usually your local/or state tax dollars waiting for you. The speed is posted! Most are still doing 40 or more up to the stop sign at Suder. Watch your speed there!
