Farmington Hills, Michigan Speed Traps

At the traffic light between 12 and 13 mile road on orchard lake, they sit right there in the entrance, and on the other side of orchard lake, it is a subdivision, my friend lives in there, and 2/5 days after school 2:30-3:00, (using K band) and 4/5 times at night time they are there, its a good spot because Staples (the store) has doors that use K band, so people like me speed anyway because we know its just the store, but since ive seen him there i dont speed on that entire strech at all.

mostly durring the warmer summer months, the cops like to hang out behind the trees… mainly that purple camaro, civilan lisence plates, antennas folded against the rear window, markings only on the right (passenger) side, fog lights, custom dual exaust, everything that makes you think it isnt a police car, also they have a green camaro that is similar to the purple one.

The cop usually hangs out in the Shiawasse Park parking lot right off of Shiawasse and Farmington. The speed limit is 25 mph so there’s always a cop there.

If you are on Drake, going towards 11 Mile, (south) there is that curvy area where it is 25 MPH… somewhat acceptable, but before that, it is a good 1/4 mile straightaway, and 90% of the time i go down that road, hes there in the marked car, using K band, i know 3 people who have gotten huge tickets there, they are on the shoulder, under the overpass… watch out!

The cops like to camp out at the school (North Farmington High School), and along various subdivision exits, I see them in the parking lot of the swim club along 13 mile also.
