Orchard Lake rd and i696 entrance/exit ramps

Farmington Hills, MichiganApr 10, 20170 Comments

Police sometimes park in unmarked cars along Orchard Lake road, between the 5th exit/entrance ramps of 696 on either side. Watch out for the northwest corner of 12 mile especially. I often see people pulled over there .

Metroview St & Green Hill Rd

Farmington Hills, MichiganMar 21, 20140 Comments

Police sit on Metroview near the entrance to the Green Hill Apartments that are north of 8 Mile Rd. Metroview is a 25 MPH zone but because it’s a long, straight roadway, many people easily go 40 MPH.

Middlebelt N. of 11 Mile at Mercy HS west driveway

Farmington Hills, MichiganJan 23, 20130 Comments

Probably hiding in one of the residential driveways or side street of Kimberley subdivision. If heading south on Middlebelt (coming from 12 Mile) the “NO LEFT TURN” sign into Mercy HS drive has been removed from the drive and posted on the right shoulder, thus very easy to miss when you’re looking left to turn left where there is no cross-street.

Farmington Rd. at 8 Mile

Farmington Hills, MichiganJan 23, 20130 Comments

Probably hanging out at the closed Big Boy or KFC or Donut Shop. Both following “offenders” across border into Livonia and coming into FH from Livonia. Do not push a yellow light. It may still be yellow when you enter the intersection, but from their side they see it turn red and pull you over.
