Farmington Hills, Michigan Speed Traps

Cops in Car or Motorbike (in summer) looks for cars going towards 12 mile. They will be standing on either side of the road. Speed limit is 35 and they will try to lock you in while going downhill. They are hard to locate. They are there very frequently. Trust me i stay there.

Police will sometimes sit at the gas station when its closed, across from the 7/11 or at the body across the street with their lights off to catch speeders coming from 9 mile and middlebelt, or to catch those passing in the right lane.

There will occasionally be a cop on Gill Road in the school zone, mostly in the AM. It’s a 35mph road, with a 25mph school zone.

Farmington Hills cops love to sit in the paramedics parking lot facing the merging traffic coming around the corner from M-5 to Grand River, when the speed limits plummets from 65/70 to 45. They are always lounging around Grand River from M-5 to the Dunkin Donuts at 8 Mile.

Farmington Hills police will sit on the shoulder of 696 but under the Farmington road overpass late at night. They have all their lights off so the darkness of the bridge hides their cars pretty well.
