Late at night (about 12 and after) A police cruiser sometimes sits in the used car lot across the street from the gas station, hiding amongst the other cars.
(usually there just to make sure no one rolls through the blinking red light)

Rural country roads are generally 55 mph. The bridge leading out of town on Plank Rd. has one 35 mph sign as you exit from southbound US-23 and going into farmland. If you don’t notice the sign and do the rural 55mph they will get you with the “instant on” laser gun on the downhill side of the overpass at US-23.

I have seen the Milan police sitting on Allen rd in the black car with no lights on the top. Its all 25mph on the road and people speed allot.

Police sit just off the road sort of behind an electrical box right at the apex of the curve across from the Methodist church, generally facing west so that cars that are eastbound from Platt Rd. cannot see them until it’s too late.
