Rochester Road near Gunn Road

Oakland, MichiganAug 02, 20071 Comments

Rochester Road north of Gunn and South of Stoney Creek Road. High enforcement of 35 mph zone which used to be 50 mph prior to "construction" which is mostly completed. Major speed trap – Sheriff hides in golf course pkg lot, empty house, etc. Goes from 50 mph to 35 mph north of Gunn – very unrealistic!

Adams Road near Gunn Road

Oakland, MichiganMar 04, 20070 Comments

Just North of Gunn Road on Adams, there is a club called "Wyndgate" on the West side of the road. Cops usually hide behind wheat, usually during the night, so its impossible to see them until youve passed them. Also, just south of the intersection, a cop will usually watch traffic while the school Delta Kelly is letting out. The speed limit slows down from 45 to 35 right there during this time.

Adams Road near Adams Road

Oakland, MichiganMar 04, 20070 Comments

While driving North on Adams road towards Orion Road, just past the Delta Kelly school, there is a hill big hill where the speed limit is 45. However while going down the hill, your car speeds up about 7-9 mph without touching the gas. The police officer sits at the Adams and Orion intersection and will pull over cars even at only 5mph over.

Kern Road near Silverbell Road

Oakland, MichiganSep 28, 20050 Comments

I got pulled over on Kern road, just north of Silverbell. My radar detector went off strong, and I braked down to the posted 25 mph. Everything seemed OK, until I realized that there were three police officers blocking the road about 1/4 of a mile away from where the radar detector went off. Apparently, they are using some type of radar (yes, radar) that works at pretty long distances.
