City of Tecumseh (Everywhere)

Tecumseh, MichiganDec 22, 20090 Comments

Anywhere in the city limits of Tecumseh…it is ill advised to speed.

Also use your blinker when turning or changing lanes, and come to a Complete stop at stop signs. Don’t even think about going late through a yellow light.

If you have been drinking and you need to drive through Tecumseh…Don’t. Go around the city.

The people who live here know better…now you know too.

Russell Road near Green Hwy/ Adrian St. Crossing

The city police like to sit in the parking lot of Dick’s Service Center (right next to the body shop) after dark. They are there almost every single day. And they manage to catch someone every day. They park to make it look as if they are one of the vehicles that has to sit outside over night for a repair. I thought this was illegal since that side of town is RAISIN TOWNSHIP and not TECUMSEH CITY LIMITS! They are terrible so watch it!

E. Chicago Boulevard near Tecumseh Community Center

Tecumseh, MichiganOct 24, 20070 Comments

Heading east out of Tecumseh on E. Chicago Blvd (also M-50), the police will sit in the Community Center on the north side. They are well hidden by a group of trees. The speed limit is 40 mph but 55 mph is only 100 or so yards ahead. The road is downhill and it’s easy to go over the limit. They prefer the morning rush hour but they have been seen there at other times of the day and night.
