Warren, Michigan Speed Traps
10 mile and Mound
At the intersection of 10 and Mound there is a 7-11 where a Warren cop is usually stationed. The Warren cop is able to get speeders going N and S on Mound AND W and E on 10 mile.
Van Dyke Northbound from 696 all the way to 13 mile
Speed limit is 35 MPH on a 4 lane Hwy with center turn Lane from 696 to 12 mile then it bumps up to 40 MPH. Police are stationed the whole way using radar guns. In spring the motorcycle patrol comes out. The speed limit could be challenged by law as being unreasonable on this type of road.
14-Mile Rd between Groesbeck and Schoenherr
I live on 14-Mile Rd just east of Groesbeck. I am up & down 14-Mile a lot, almost daily. In the evening, I am amazed at how many people I see pulled over, up and down 14-Mile Rd. Especially towards the end of the month. I advise anyone traveling that stretch in the evening to watch the speed limit.
12 mile rd. between Mound and Ryan
Motorcycle cop will sit in driveway hidden by tree branches on North side of 12 mi. just past Wolgast st. which is closer to Mound than Ryan.
Is there just about every day.
Martin Road between Hayes and Bunert
This is a small stretch of road that runs between a high school and Macomb College. It is a 25 mile per hour zone. Many times you will see the cop sitting in the college driveway or in the bus parking lot across the street. I’ve seen several people pulled over in this area!
