Local police monitor this area often hiding off to the side of the farm field or taking advantage of the lack of visibility in the S curve. They are usually present during rush hour both am and pm and when Andover high school is done for the day.

The cops sit along the west side of Hanson on the side street, a few blocks north of 242. There hidden as the hill on the side street blocks drivers view of them. The speed changes from 50 to 45 in that area.

The squad sits behind the traffic lite control box on the north side (old city hall) monitoring traffic coming off of East river road and entering Coon Rapids Blvd. He cannot be seen until you are on top of him.
