As you leave Apple Valley northbound on Pilot Knob and go past the Diamond T horse Ranch, just over the hill a maked squad sits on a side street waiting for you… the speed limit in Apple Valley is 50 and changes on the hill just inside Eagan to 45.

Diffley’s limit drops to 35mph violently after Rahn Road, road condition should merit continued 45mph. Officers hide out by alternative school down the road. Once you see them, it’s too late. Officer claimed that I was going 45 but speedometer (accurate) was a hair over 40.

State Patrol hides under the I-35E overpass and targets I-494 eastbound traffic with laser. Patrol car is well hidden under overpass. Since he is hidden, the Trooper cannot make an accurate visual estimate of speed (as required by law). ANY ticket issued at this location, should be contested.
