Saint Louis Park, Minnesota Speed Traps
Louisiana Avenue near State Highway 7
Keep your speeds under 40 on Louisiana between highway 7 and Minnetonka Blvd, it’s a notorious hot spot for speed traps, especially down by the Park Tavern bowling ally. Louisiana is just a bad road to speed on period, I see people pulled over here more than any other road in St. Louis Park.

Its right up by the bridge the cops sit in the parking lot of H&H tv repair and just wait whcih doesnt take too long
Highway 100 and Excelsior Blvd area
Police cars will park with lights off under bridges and in areas where you wouldn’t look for a parked car. This is a real hot zone. At times, there will be more than one police car in the area looking for speeders.
I-394 between Hwy 100 and Louisiana Ave
About monthly there is a "sting" co-operation by Mn State Patrol, St. Louis Park and Golden Valley police. This is usually between morning and evening rush "hours". As many as 8 squads have been counted in one of these stings but probably more if you count the units on the bridges and ones on the ramps posed to nab another motorist. They seem to go after anyone, as the posted limit of 55 is ignored by nearly all drivers and 60-65 is the norm. They will get the obvious faster driver if there is one, else they just pick one out of the pack and write them up.
