There is a cop that sits at the entrance to the Exit of NB 71 highway and Bannister Road. He is usually in a patrol car shooting laser out the door. Its a very sneaky transistion from 65 to 55 mph through there and they WILL write tickets.

Eastbound on M-350 on bridge over 63rd Street, just before entering Raytown. Located at top of hill, positioned to catch traffic just leaving I-435 (at 65mph) to 55mph posted speed on M-350. Or traffic coasting down preceeding hill to radar postion. Dimly lit radar position in area where most drivers are concentrating on required lane weaves to remain on M-350 and not exiting 63rd Street. Have observed tickets issued numerous this past month even during rush hour.

Officers sit on the Bannister Rd overpass and shoot traffic coming NB towards them. It is hard to see their cars on the overpass until it’s too late. Sometimes they will have one car shooting and other cars staged on the on ramp that actually do the stopping.

Police sit in the cul-de-sac on the south side of the road right before you enter North Kansas City Hospitals campus. The speed limit here is 20mph which is very slow. If people are in a hurry to make it to the hospital for a loved one that just arrived or something that has changed in their condition, watch it or they will nail you!

State Highway 350 near Noland Road

Eastbound 350 going from Raytown, MO back into Kansas City. Speed trap is at the bottom of the hill after a blind curve. Across the street from firehouse. Usually motorcycle cops. What is interesting is the number of times you see these same cops driving back downtown through Raytown far exceeding the speed limit…..no, I have never gotten a ticket there.
