Maryland Heights, Missouri Speed Traps
Page Avenue Extension Expressway near Maryland Heights Expressway
Police sit under the overpass (where you can’t see) on East Bound Page, just before the Maryland Heights Expressway Exit. I have seen numerous cars pulled over here and myself got a ticket here.
Maryland Heights Expressway near Casino
Maryland Heights expressway is a newly constucted 4 mile,4 lane concrete highway with a 45 mph speed limit that is very easy to exceed. Be very carefull around the entrance to Harrah’s casino!

I-270S at McKelvey Rd Overpass (447 Feet South of I70E to I270S entrance ramp)
An officer posted on the overpass reports speeders to marked police vehicles parked on southbound shoulder. This officer can only be seen once the overpass has been cleared in the rearview mirror…TOO LATE!
Dorsett & McKelvey
This one isn’t actually a speed trap per se. Instead, at the CompUSA/Dobbs Auto & Tire shopping center at Dorsett & McKelvey, if you go out the McKelvey Ave. entrance, there’s a stop sign right in front of the Dobb’s Auto & Tire Center that you MUST pay attention to, because the Maryland Heights Police Department does! This stop sign is situated at the corner of the building, and it’s fairly common for the MHPD to be sitting just around the corner of the building making sure you STOP or else face a wallet cleansing! In my personal opinion, this stop sign serves NO other purpose whatsoever other than for the purpose of being a cash cow for the city of Maryland
