5 days a week at times; either a car sits in the parking lot at Woods baseball complex or an officer hides between two hills at the intersection of J and Marshall (around 30th and J). It’s a big street and very easy to "speed" on – 25 mph limit.

South 27th Street near Just North of Highway 2

As you are going down the hill from Pine Lake to Highway 2 on south 27th street, several the lincoln police department sits behind a bridge made for bikes at a bottom of a hill. They use hand held radar guns and possibly laser. Any good detector can beat the trap as you are going done a hill at 40 mph then the limit changes to 35 then you have the trap, they will most likely irradiate you at the bottom of the hill in the 35 when you would be most likely to be speeding. Officers have been known to cite for 40 in the 35 (10 dollar ticket, 44 dollar court cost).

56th Street near Stockwell Street

only when heading north on south 56th going down hill at bottom of hill officer behind bushes on east side of 56th on stockwell. radaring from bushes than runs into street waving to pull vehical over. is there many weekday mornings between 6 and 8 always uses same spot to hide in. very hard to see officer so slow before going down hill after the intersection of 56th and pioneers
