Reno, Nevada Speed Traps
West 4th Street near I-80 Exit 8
This one gets you in both directions (Eastbound or Westbound). Eastbound: On W 4th Street heading toward I80 after passing Mayberry and Woodland directly across from the old boarded up River Casino. Speed limit suddenly turns from 45 to 25 along a stretch that makes no sense at all.
Westbound: Exiting I80 onto W 4th Street the speed limit suddenly goes down to 35 MPH! If you don’t hit the brakes after coming off the Interstate you will be doing 55 mph when you enter their trap! There is no reason for this outrageous speed trap. Motorcycle cops are the only ones I’ve seen here as a car would be too dangerous to use.

State Highway 395 near Niel Road
Now that it’s summer, the motorcycle cops have started sitting at the southbound on ramp at Niel Rd. I see them there almost every day. Usually two or three of them sitting there.

Robb Drive near Mae Ann Avenue
Going south on Robb Dr from Mae Ann there is a motorcycle city cop at the bottom of the hill on the right across from the church in a park parking lot behind the four pine trees.

Lakeside Drive near Manzanita Drive
They park in the Community Center parking lot half way between McCarran and Moana on Lakeside, you cannot see them if you are heading North on Lakeside from McCarran posted speed limit is 35.

Kings Row Street near Keystone Avenue
Police hide on kings row mainly near the school. Kings row is between keystone and north mccarran. Also seen bike cop hide right on keystone where you enter kings row.
