I80 East from Reno to Fernley, just before the Derby Dam Exit and just past the rest area on the leFort Nothing for your detector to pick up, they use an airplane with a stop watch (VASCAR). They time you and are waiting further down the road for tickets. Look for the white lines on the side of the road with airplane silhouette, these are the time marks they use, go posted between them, usually up to 8 NHP up the road waiting for you so going with the flow isn’t safe, the group will be pulled over and ticketed. Ticketed there twice in 1 week before figuring out how, both times only 5mph over posted. Usually out there till 11AM on clear days that are good for aircraFort

US Highway 395 near Plumb Lane

I was just hit twice with LIDAR five hours apart, once traveling South while merging onto 395 and once going North on 395. I did not see anyone and was wondering if anyone here has any info on this? Curiosity is making me wonder! Next time I am down the hill in Reno, if I get hit again, I will investigate it and post what I find. Thanks guys and gals!

Motorcycle cop parks on courthouse sidewalk area — across from Reno High School — 15MPH He’s out there whenever the weather isn’t cold or rainy. I’ve seen him nail lots of people. New escorts give plenty of warning, but he does use the instant on K band radar gun.
