Edison, New Jersey Speed Traps

Police are often positioned at where the residential section ends and the industrial park begins, near the machine shop. I have often seen two or more police cars waiting for their next victim. Obey the 25 limit, they will not give you a break.

When headed on the Parkway North, before exit 131 (about 128 or so) there is a brick bridge going over the parkway. Cops love to hide on the left side of the bridge because there is no way to see them until after you have passed. The best way to tell if a cop is present is to look for brake lights going off after the bridge.

This is a connector street between Inman Ave. and New Dover Rd. so they enforce to keep the speed down through the residential neighborhood. They set up on Independence or in the wooded area south of McKinley.

Watch out when you pass the entrance to the Ford plant, cop cars camp out there. Edison cops are usually pretty lax, just don’t go over 40.
