Randolph, New Jersey Speed Traps
State Highway near Rescue Squad building
Usually when it is dark out you can see a cruiser sitting either in the parking lot for the rescue squad on RT 10 or in the cut through in the median. When they are sitting in the parking lot it is right after you crest a hill and you can’t seem them until it is to late, this is west bound. When you are going eastbound and they are sitting in the median you cannot see them due to a little dip in the road before the cut through. Most of the time they are using a stealth car to minimize their profile on the road.
Morris Turnpike near sussex Turnpike
The posted speed limit on Morris Turnpike, between Dover-Chester Road and Sussex Turnpike, is 30 miles per hour. This is a major road with usually light traffic. Most of the connecting roads have much higher posted limits. It is very easy to exceed the limit without realizing it. Although I have never been ticketed myself, I have seen many people stopped between Sussex Turnpike and Carrell Road, and have seen many police hiding along this stretch.
Carrell Road near VFW Building
Patrol units usually hide in the parking lot of the VFW building by the park. They are hard to see coming up the hill because they hide behind the trees and catch you on your way up. Coming down the hill it is easier to see them.
State Route 10 near Entrance of Randolph Park
The sit in the parking lot of that small strip mall which includes Ace Hardware store, right next to the entrance of Randolph Park, but before Sussex Tpk merges with Route 10. Looked like the cop was just sitting in the lot, got caught and nabbed me as I was going down the hill
quaker crurch Road near bedminster Road
The cop likes to hid out by the park entrance and up the hill in Mine Hill by the restaurant.
