Rio Rancho, New Mexico Speed Traps

You come down the hill heading south on Unser and speed goes from 45 to 40 to 30 in a matter of 1000ft? or so. The man stands at the top of the hill, with radar gun, right before you make the right turn to the colledge and pulls people over in packs. I was a victom and watched as they did this all day long.

Speed cameras have been approved and getting installed at the following Rio Rancho, NM intersection….

– The speed limit from the stop sign by the Armory to the Entrance of Mariposa drops from 55 to 40 then after the stop sign in front of the armory it goes back to 55mph. Sheriffs love to sit there and tag people coming around the corners. It is a 2mile stretch of 40mph speed limit in the middle of no where! Worthless!!!!

Motorcycle officers will hide in street corners they change everyday. Rio Rancho Police its really at work be careful when you come to Rio Rancho New Mexico

Usually 2 motorcycle cops and 1-2 cars wait accross from North Hills mini Mart clocking the speed of motorists.
