Saratoga County Sheriff Deputies park in a gravel part just off the surface of Pierce Road monitoring traffic on Kinns Road just West of US Route 9. Sheriff uses instant on KA Band radar which can pick off cars as they come down over the I-87 Bridge towards Pierce. They Sheriff car is parked just back enough that by the time you see them they will have you clocked. Cars coming from the East come around a curve and have a few extra seconds to spot ’em, but not that much either. Speed Trap is common a few times per week — Speed Limit 45 MPH Zone

Just past exit 9 going north there is a rest area. At the point where you exit the rest area and begin to enter the interstate, there are a group of pine trees. The State Police sit there with laser and hit you on the strait away section of the interstate. Got caught doing 85 in the posted 65 on 12/9/06 noontime.
