coming off the manhattan bridge, there is a traffic light that everyone goes through. a cop is usually on service road watching light.
Riverside Drive near Grants Tomb
The viaduct north of Grants Tomb is a straightaway with no cross streets for about 10 blocks, then Riverside takes a wicked turn back into residential. I live nearby and have seen people crash and die, so the more people who know about the cops at the end of the viaduct, maybe the less car crashes will happen in front of my buiding.
Washington Street near West 13th Street
The stop sign is hard to see so most people run the sign and get nailed for speeding and runnung a stop sign.
F.D.R. Drive near 102 Street
north bound side on right side in the emergency cut off just after 96 st. entrance enforcement is highway 1
Park Av South
Blue & White NYPD Cruiser Sit N/B on Park Ave South between 17 and 18 Sts. from 4am till 9am. Using K band radar tagging cars as they cross 19 St. If you have radar detector it will always go of at that point and get stronger as you get close. Sometime he hide in front of the newpaper truck. 30 mph is the posted speed limit. Very picky guy.
