I haven’t been stopped here, but I see plenty of folks pulled over (at least four or five times a week, sometimes more). The speed limit on this portion of MLK Boulevard (formerly Airport Road) is 35, which is absurd. A safe limit that far out–between Estes and 40–would be more like 45.

LEOs sit near the bottom of the hill near the 54 Intersection, or cruise on the road itself, unmarked gray units. Speed limit is 35 mph de jure, but 50 mph de facto. LEOs writing tickets for 60-64 mph.
