Randleman, North Carolina Speed Traps

They will have their patrol car backed up along the woodline at Fox St. There is an old roadway that used to run from Naomi St to N main St and they use it to park on. You cannot see them until after you top the hill coming into town at the old water plant. The speed limit changes from 55 to 35 and once you top the hill its too late. They also use this spot to watch the stop sign at Fox St.

This is a usual spot for them to setup license checkpoints. They set up in front of the little church, usually on weekend mornings trying to catch people going to yardsales that do not have a license.

The city cops are not allowed to sit on hwy 311 and run stationary radar but they are allowed to make traffic stops on hwy 311 if they are passing through and catch a speeder while mobile. The speed limit changes from 55 to 35 just prior to crossing over the bridge coming into town. Alot of people dont realize this and continue doing 55 to 60 and get nailed. The city cops love to patrol in this area due to the speed trap located here.

Be careful anywhere in this town. They have some new vehicles and want us to pay for them.
