Rolesville, North Carolina Speed Traps
Hwy 401 Rolesville
This is a 35 zone. The zone has been extended well south of the town. Rolesville PD patrol this extensively with radar. I had someone tell me they were written a ticket for 40/35 there. Be careful. They don’t have anything else to do.
Burlington Mills Rd & S Main St
On the south side of the town, the 35-mph zone was extended during early 2009 into an area that was previously 55 mph. The new signs are not clearly visible, and the Rolesville Police run a very agressive speed trap in the new speed zone catching people who may be unaware of the recent change.

Speed drops from 55 to 35, police often sit beside businesses and cannot be seen until passed.
Main Street
In the new recreation park. A unit will sit all the way down the driveway catching people going into town.
US Highway 401 near entire town
There are 3 spots Rolesville cops like to sit. One is by Ronnie White’s tire place right when you get into town it goes from 55 to 35 in a heart beat. The next is when you are coming into town from Hwy 96. The speed Limit turns from 55 to 45 by the big billboard and they like to sit by the church across from it. Then about a mile down the road it turns to 35 and they sit behind the trees at the car repair place. Good Luck!
