Eastlake, Ohio Speed Traps

Be extremely careful when driving on this road. They like to sit on side streets, and nail you as you drive past. The "stops" have almost doubled since the construction on Vine St. The speed limit is 25mph, and if you are traveling much more than 27mph, you’re in trouble.

Officer on foot likes to gun eastbound traffic from the RR overpass. He is hidden by a street overpass less than 50 yards to the west. The street overpass will block your line of sight to the RR bridge and once the RR is visible, you are already within radar range (1/8 mile or less). I have only seen police at this location during low traffic times on the weekends.
