Fairborn, Ohio Speed Traps

On Kaufmann Avenue next to or in the Ziebart Tidy Car parking lot, a police officer will sit (generally when it gets dark so you can’t see him) and wait for speeders.

When traveling North on I-675 and exiting onto 844 the speed limit changes from 65 mph to 55 mph. The road curves to the left going back underneath I-675. The speed trap is when you are under the overpass. The cop sits at the top of the hill about 1 mile up the road. Since the road continues to turn left you cannot see the cop sitting at the top of the hill until it is too late. In the past month, I have see him sitting there about 4 out of the five days. He has pulled over numerous people including myself. Be carefull, the city of Fairborn, Ohio doesn’t deserve any more donations.

I-675 between Exits 20 & 24 — they sit in median "low spots" and / or on shoulder . . . BUT you’re especially easy prey southbound as you come "over the hill" of the 235 / I-675 interchange – Exit 22. Fairborn PD in particular seem to be very aggresive here, but also Greene County Sherrif and Ohio Patrol — both independently AND sometimes along with Fairborn PD!
