Fairview Park, Ohio Speed Traps

Police like to hide late at night in an ice cream shop’s parking lot late at night at the corner of Story and Lorain, right before the Lorain Ave. bridge. The speed limit here is 25. This is to catch speeders coming off the bridge from Cleveland going too fast and those going into Cleveland from Fairview that punch it right before the long bridge. Lots of bars in area (especially on Cleveland side of the bridge), so late at night they hide to nail anyone going 1 mph over the speed limit in the hopes of a bigger kill; a DUI stop.

I know many people who have gotten tickets here!! Cops like to sit on this stretch of road (usually on bridge over parkway) and clock traffic on the opposite side of rush hour traffic. I travel this road every day and I can’t remember a time in the last 6 months that someone wasn’t pulled over here!!

They sit in that motel parking lot and clock you over the bridge becuase its a nice straight visible road
