Lima, Ohio Speed Traps

Multiple Ohio state troopers using laser radar pulling over cars one after another on holiday weekends even during non peak hours. I received a ticket in a low traffic setting and the following week I was traveling in a group of cars all doing about 4mph over posted limit and a trooper pulled over one out of the busy traffic. After the trooper gave me my ticket he couldn’t even turn into the median because there were 3 troopers already sitting there.

They park in the parking lot area of the fire station next to Edgewood skating rink, especially around 9 am in the morning.

There is a white church, on the corner of 81 Allentown road, and cremean RD, with a stone parking lot that Local Sheriffs like to sit at. they usually sit on the east side of the building behind, it in the stone parking lot. If you are going west to east you will not be able to spot them as you approach so its best to slow down till you clear the church and look to make sure there is no one sitting there. if you are going east to west the spot is blocked by some smaller tress due to the 3 houses on the east side so approach with caution as there might be someone there waiting.

Once you past the church going east to west i have never seen a cop sitting anywhere so its free sailing till you hit the T intersection a few miles up.

Cops sit both on the right and left side of the road. On the North side of the street they sit behind garbage dumpsters and are almost impossible to see. This is a 35 mph zone the whole street!

Right across from Eagles is a church, cops will sit in parking lot beside the church where u cant see them if u are driving east bound, west bound can see them and will beable to slow down in time but the will get u everytime driving to fast east bound
