The Pigs park back about 25 yds to the west of the only main intersection in town clocking everyone as they go past the light in the 25mph zone. The BS is that it’s a 4 lane highway so if you are driving in the left lane and a truck is beside you, you can’t even see when it jumps down to 25mph. They got me for a 38 in a 25.

This is the worst trap I’ve ever seen US Route 6 was closed for construction I followed the recommend detour. A four lane highway State Road 25 was under construction also a very bad way to rasie money.the speed limit goes from 55 to 25 mph in about 1/4 mile you would almost have to lock your brakes to avoid speeding. I got pulled over going 42 in a 25 mph $138.

Portage currently has 2 police cars and 4 officers that diligently defend their half-mile stretch of State Rt. 25 in Northwest Ohio. Nearly 90% of the towns revenue comes from moving violations of unwhitting motorist who are merely passing through this quaint town. Entering the town, the speed limit changes from 55mph. to 35mph. and finally to 25mph. All of these changes occure in less than a quarter mile. The police force is notorious for their hiding spots. After dark, they will hide in private drives with all of their lights off (including parking lights). You will not see them but they will see you.
