Stow, Ohio Speed Traps
Fishcreek Road near Lake Run Boulevard
Black patrol car sits in an unused drive on a curve just south of the Stow-Kent Entertainment Center as seen from Fishcreek Road. Speed limit is 35 MPH, up to 40 MPH is tolerated and I have personally seen drivers pulled over at 40 MPH. It’s an excellent location for a speed trap as concealment is excellent.
Graham Road near Interstate 8
As you are traveling on Graham Rd Westbound towards SR 8 you travel down a significant decline which will increase your speed by as much as 15 MPH if you are not riding your brake. The cops sit in the country club everyday at different times on the right hand side just before the tracks.
Ritchie Road near Darrow Street
Richie is a long road. Theres no sat place whwere a police car will sit. Use his radar, points and shoots. The speed limit is 25. An you you better be going 25 or else. I’ve seem him get 4 car in 5 mintes. so beware.
Commerce Road near State Route 91
Cops hide out in driveways of businesses along Commerce and just pick ’em off like flies. Posted 35 is about 10 MPH below what natural speed limit should be. Guy behind me got pulled over there Saturday and he couldn’t have been doing more than 38-40 MPH.
Fishcreek Road near North End Of Call Farm
Near the new north entrance to Call’s Farm housing development there is dirt road going into the woods. Stow police sit there and clock drivers driving northbound on Fishcreek. Note this is on the bottom of the hill so increased speed is observed in a sly way.
