Forest Park, Oklahoma Speed Traps
NE 36th and Bryant
after intersection is a narrower road. You get an improper use of lane ticket if you drive at night and cannot see the sign.
NE 36th St, East of I-35
There is a Vietnamese Buddhist Temple in the city of forest park. The police will stage any type of ‘safety checks’ during religious/festival days, knowing that additional revenues (give out tickets) will be generated. There will always extra police during religious days..I am going to venture a guess that Asians will be given most of the tickets and also those tickets will be given during religious days.

Speed is 30 mph and police situate themselves so close to sign that as one said to me: He couldn’t tell if I was slowing down because of the sign or because of him. I hadn’t slowed down enough before I got to sign and got a ticket.

This town exists for no other reason than to support the mutually parasitic relationship of the courts and the police department. They will write tickets, but their specialty is looking for excuses to impound vehicles. Forest Park does not have so much as a single business within its borders for obvious reasons: people avoid it like the plague that it is. I drive at least 10 mph under the limit–its the only way to be avoid a ticket. It gets you pulled over for "suspicious behavior" instead.

Forest Park (the entire area) is nothing but a huge speed trap. It’s a little piece of nothing suberb of Oklahoma City who keeps patrols out at all times of the day and night to catch anyone unlucky enough to drive through there. The posted speed is 35 MPH and they WILL write a ticket for as little as one mile over the speed limit. Keeps their little burg in money. I refuse to drive anywhere near Forest Park for any reason. If you’re smart you will too.
