I-35 varies between 75 mph and 60 mph. Suddenly, around SE 15th street, it goes to 60 and there "they" are, waiting in unmarked cars.

This is right in front of the OSU OKC Police training facility. Northbound is the most dangerous. Officers will sit on the west side at one of the furniture stores or JB Battle. I’ve seen many people pulled over here in the last 3 years. Got mine on my birthday. I was doing 43 in a 40. Ticketed for 52. Also got a seatbelt ticket when I had the belt on the whole time! My passenger did not have his on and got a warning. Officer told me i needed to "make it more visible" that i was wearing my seat belt! What am i supposed to do? Take the doors off?!!

That’s right, EAST of Arcadia! You might think you are out in the middle of nowhere on an wide-open road. But it is actually part of OKC, which has annexed the road this far out in the boonies. When you see people lined up on the roadside getting tickets, and the flashing lights in your rear-view, you know why – big time money-making SPEEDTRAP!

The speed limit on this stretch of road is so mph, which is mush to slow. Classen and Penn are 35 and 40, respectively, and turning on to this fast-seeming road can result in a quick ticket. On the other hand, there are three schools in the neighborhood to the south and one on the north, so the slow speed limit is not unfounded. But watch out for it. People are constantly getting pulled over and ticketed, and, since a good portion of it is in a school zone, ticket prices are high. So don’t just go fast and watch for police, slow down!
