Dunlop St. West Street near Ferndale & Tiffen Avenue
This is the area between Ferndale Ave and Tiffen St. on Dunlop St. It is a posted 60 Km zone, but it is really still the highway. This is a regular trap for police doing overtime.
Essa Road near Bryne Drive
If travelling north on Essa, heading towards Ardagh Road/Bryne Drive, there is a hill with a steep decline where it is natural to pick up speed. Police will quite often be in the Tim Horton’s or Esso Gas Station parking lots. It is very easy to gain speed to about 80 km (or more) by going down this hill.
Georgian Drive near Johnson Street
Sit in various homeowners driveways on North side of Georgian Dr before Johnson St. Beware they are present all times of day.
Anne street north or south Street near Letitia Street
The cop uses radar on the sidestreet near the public school or catholic high school during school hours usually in the morning at 0800 hours
Barrieview Drive near Coca Cola Distribution
Typically unmarked patrol cars, but not limited to. Road narrows from two lanes, and flow of traffic remains much higher than posted speed limit. By the time you see them, its all over.
