Belleville, Ontario Speed Traps
North Front Street
Police sit beside color your world and nab any unsuspecting motorists. Enforcement seems to be mainly a weekend thing with the occasional weekday enforcement.
Dundas East Street
Police hide their vehicle in the Tin Man parking lot across from the church and do hand held radar checks while standing in the parking lot. They target motorists coming over the bridge who miss the 60 km drop when approaching the bridge. Enforcement tends to be all over the place for that particular spot.
Bell Boulevard
Police have now found a new spot of Bell Blvd. and are targeting motorists who do not make the 80km to 50km switch coming off of the Bell Blvd. extension. Police tend to sit in off the Blvd in either the Auto Systems parking areas or the street just beside Auto Systems. You will not see the cruiser until it is too late to slow down… very popular with the traffic enforcement units.
