Belleville, Ontario Speed Traps

Officer sits in his car at the Majestic Drycleaners catching all who don’t brake or slow down after coming down the hill in front of Quinte Secondary.

Enforcement is from Roslin to Belleville. This is done predominantly by Belleville Police, you never see the OPP out here. They are tenacious, I’ve seen them going to work in the morning with a violator, and again in the evening. Its posted 80kmh and I’ve been passed by motorists well in excess of 50kmh over this limit. Dangerous roadway on long weekends.

They’re constantly here in all different locations. Road is narrow, and lots of traffic to Walmart and Taste of Country.

They sit at the entrance to their Police Pound. They have you before you even see them. Easy to speed here, and its not a good road either.

They sit on the south side of the roadway near the Driver’s Licence office, by the time you see them its too late. Its a 50kmh zone, not uncommon to be doing 70-80kmh
