Eastbound Wanless Drive approaching Hwy. 10 (Hurontario St.)
Just before the Wanless/Hwy. 10 intersection, eastbound motorists get nailed by officers hiding their cruisers on the access road behind the Wanless Centre Mall, behind the fence and clothing donation bin. Police standing at the road look like someone waiting at the bus stop there. As you cross the railroad tracks on Wanless going east, and come around the bend by the Brampton Brick, be sure you’re travelling at 60 km/hr. or you are toast!
hyway 136 coming into town
coming in to orangeville from the west side ..80 klm drops to 40 ,police car is parked on a side street with his radar gun on you
Goreway Drive between Queen Street and Castlemore Road
This is a hilly stretch of 2 lane road with a lot of hiding places for the cops. They especially like to hide at a driveway used to access a transformer station at about the mid way point on this stretch of road on the east side.
All of Rutherford/Castlemore Rd from Hwy 27 to Airport Rd
The entire stretch of Rutherford Rd/Castlemore Rd/Bovaird Dr between Hwy 27 (in the east) to at least Airport Rd (to the west) has been one massive speed trap for a while, in both the east and westbound directions. Everytime I drive this way there are motorists stopped. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The area is home to a very ritzy neighbourhood, very vocal, and police show no mercy to anyone stopped from what I’ve heard.
