North York, Ontario Speed Traps

Posted speed 50km, its easy to be going 80km as you are going down a large hill, on the east side is a private school. Police hide behind bushes at a stop light 2/3 down the hill. In force during non-school times. Weekends and hollidays.

Every morning, there are ALWAYS OPP on the southbound 404, hiding in TREES waiting to catch drivers who attempt to beat traffic by crossing over the solid line into the merging lane for people entering the 404 Southbound from Finch. I see a new person(s) get caught each day on the way to work.

Be careful when speeding up 404 northbound just approaching finch. I often see OPP with Radar in the middle concrete barriers pointing south.

Just past TTC station (middle of highway). Have seen two cruisers there only once, but it is a nicely hidden place.

Police park their cars/motocycles near the bus shelter on the north side of steeles, across from the plaza with the Blockbusters
