North York, Ontario Speed Traps

If you get off of 401 at Weston Road and head northbound be very carefull. It is usually patrolled on the weekends and they target people going both north and southbound. They setup in the middle of the street and in side streets too, it matters which direction they are targeting. The big problem is that from 401 to about finch it is a community saftey zone which doubles fines and it has school zones and changing speed limits from 40 to 50km/h. Take it slow the whole way down, it is well patrolled.

Beware YORK Students! Going west on shorham from York (Ice Gardens exit) towards Jane there is a trap that I see victims of everyday. There is a cop car parked in the left turning lane (he is facing east) waiting for you as soon as you turn the bend of the bridge. It’s a school zone of 40km/h plus it is down hill.

Under the bridge before Wilson ends they hide in a side street.

before u pass high land farms on your right side slow down the cops are waiting on top of the up hill climb on your right they are waiting on a driveway, i got clocked @ 87kph but he let me off the ticket
