Hwy 11-17 / Balsam St.
Watch for laser radar set up on shoulder of road catching cars coming westbound on the divided highway, usually daytime on weekdays. The tripod stand for the radar is often hidden behind a 2nd parked car with the cruisers up ahead. If you see cars on the right shoulder heading into town, slow down!
John St./Tamarack Pl.
In front of E.Q. Jennings School where speed drops to 40 km/h. Police using laser in school zone with cruisers hidden on Tamarack Pl.
Rosslyn Rd. and 15th side Rd.
they sit on 15th side across from trimac and get cars heading west on rosslyn rd. they are hidden behind some pine trees.
Balmoral Street near Harold Crescent
Radar parks in the parking lot across from the tanker trailers. Mostly at rush hour and on weekends.
River Street near Rockwood Avenue
Between Rockwood and Red River Rd. the speed limit goes from 40 kmph to 50 kmph and in 2/10 of a kilometer (from the 50kmph sign ) it drops to 30 kmph, then back to 50 kmph as you clear the corner..
I don’t know if this is being used as a speed trap, but it certainly has the potential
