Baltimore Pike Road near Ridley Creek Road

Media, PennsylvaniaOct 13, 20040 Comments

Upper Providence Township cops will sit back on Ridley Creek Rd and catch cars coming down Baltimore Pk. towards Granite Run. The limit used to be 40 before that intersection but they dropped it to 25 and moved the 40MPH marker about 1/2 mile up the road.

Do not know what kind of tickets they issue, only that I constantly see cars pulled over on Baltimore Pk. and Upper Providence cops lying in wait.

State Highway 352 near Middletown Fire House

Media, PennsylvaniaSep 03, 20040 Comments

2 traps within one mile of each other. First is on Copes Lane directly across from the Middletown Fire House. Usually tries to catch people headed northbound on 352 (towards Granite Run Mall) but if you don’t pay attention will catch the occasional southbound fool who didn’t see him. Second is on Harvard Ave. Easier to catch southbound traffic here, but also will catch northbound too. State Police here, so radar is the weapon of choice. Used to be at least one trooper at either one of these areas at least twice a week, but have tailed off as of late (sep 3 2004)
