Berlin G. Meyers Expressway near US Highway 17 A

Summerville, South CarolinaMar 02, 20080 Comments

The Berlin G. Meyers Expressway bypasses 17A. The speed limit signs are posted 50mph clearly. Officers sit at every cross street. Expressway doesn’t mean speedway but every morning I see someone pulled for speeding. 50 means 50 on this road. Not to many warnings passed out here due to MVA’s with serious injuries and fatalities.

Sheep Island/Berkely Circle Road near Behind Azalea Square Shopping Center, Off 17A,Leads to Wheatherstone Subdivision.

Summerville, South CarolinaMar 02, 20080 Comments

This road is home to The wheatherstone Subdivision entrances and an Apartment complex. There is also a new Summerville Fire Department Station. This road is a speeders paradise and is known as a problem due to the EXCESSIVE speeds. It is mostly undeveloped (for now). There are plenty of great nooks for an Officer to catch you before you even see him/her. Slow down folks! Ps. Make complete stops at ALL stop signs. They don’t just take down speeders.
